According to PR News IAP Worldwide Services, Inc. acquired two new companies from DRS Technologies in November 2015. They acquired their Aviation and Logistics business in Oklahoma City, and the Tactile Network and Communications business located in Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD.
The other business TCNS provides services to the US Department of Defense. The services are engineering,information technology, and support. IAP Worldwide plans to integrate the unique services of both companies in the future. This increases IAP’s ability to deliver quality services to customers worldwide and increase the size of the market. They businesses will be integrated into a new department Aviation and Engineering Solutions.

They hired a graduate from the University of Florida to help with fundraising for 12 weeks to assist the staff. More than 40 agencies in the area depend on the United Way funding.
